Please download, print and complete the summer volunteer application and bring it with you to your orientation meeting. Attending a SOLFUL orientation meeting is a requirement in order to volunteer in the summer program. Dates for the orientation meetings are as follows:

Saturday, June 5th – 10am
Wednesday, June 9th – 7pm
Monday, June 14th – 7pm
Saturday, June 19th – 10am (@601 East Valencia Ave, Fullerton)
Sunday- June 20th – 4pm

What is SOLFUL?
This summer YOU have the opportunity to BE the church to one of three neighborhoods in Fullerton where California budget cuts have forced the closure of summer school and given thousands of children nowhere to go. For 7 weeks we have the chance to seek the welfare of the city and it’s people by engaging the children of Fullerton through exciting and fun programs centered in Art, Sports and Education!

WHEN: JUNE 22nd – AUGUST 6th, 2010
WHERE: Garnet Community (Placentia Ave. & Garnet Ln.), Maple Community (Lemon Ave. & Valencia Ave.), Richmond Community (Valencia Ave. & Highland Ave.)
WHO: You and 13+ churches representing the church of the city.

SolFul is an initiative started by Fullerton Advocating Community Transformation (Fullerton ACT) which is an open forum amongst Christ-centered community leaders that encourage one another to take steps in transforming the Fullerton community. Fullerton ACT also works with the City of Fullerton through the Fullerton Collaborative to present the needs of the city to our church communities. SolFul: Summer of Love Fullerton is one of our first opportunities to unify as the church of the city and build relationships with one another and our communities.
